Our Owner

My name is Rowan Knapp. After years of working in hospitality—serving for your standard brunch crowd, large dinner parties, to finally bartending for corporate and private events, it didn’t take long to understand what truly creates a memorable experience. I noticed hosts were often too busy managing the details to actually enjoy the company of their guests. That’s where The Modern Host comes in.

What started as a passion for crafting cocktails quickly evolved into something more intentional: a service designed to take the weight off your shoulders while creating an experience. From thoughtfully curated menus to seamless execution, every detail is handled with precision and style.
